The most generous cigar store on earth, Cigars Direct, sent me the DL600 to review.

The last time I reviewed an LFD Dbl Ligero (the DL700), it just about killed me -- my heart raced, I was sweating. It was as absolutely awesome as a powerhouse cigar can be.

My taste buds have built up more tolerance these days as I was able to handle this slightly smaller vitola in easy stride. (Or maybe that was just because I ate a heavy meal first). But it still had that oily, smooth, sun-darkened wrapper, and a bold, rich flavor. It pairs well with a complex single malt - I recommend Laphroig or Caol Ila. Be prepared to light your tongue on fire.
