Cigar Review: Cohiba Extra Viejo XV 550
Filler: Nicaraguan and Dominican
Size: 50 x 5 inches
Style: Robusto

This is a limited production cigar, using select tobacco that is aged longer than normal.

A very smooth, decent tasting cigar. No gumminess on the end. Mild odor. Good draw. Lasted over 45 minutes, and did not become too hot or gain a harsh flavor as it burned. However, at over $8, I did not think this cigar was a bargain. I prefer the richer taste of the Onxy Reserves or even the heavier tastes of the Bering Robustos. However, this Cohiba did have a sturdier construction and more consistency than those brands.
